RAISING SUSTAINABILITY AWARENESS
Our team members are regular participants of global discussions at the local scale in matters related to sustainable infrastructure, climate change, and the impact of infrastructure on how to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Agenda. The participation in current working groups includes the “Expert Working Group on integrated approaches to sustainable infrastructure” by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the American Society of Civil Engineers' (ASCE)'s “Sustainable Infrastructure Standards Committee - Leadership Writing Group” and “Planning Committee on Global Sustainability”.
In our efforts to raise awareness about sustainability, we have been guests, and speakers, at several events such as commencement speeches, TEDx Talks, and several engagement initiatives at the United Nations.
