"Sustainable and Resilient Guatemala" Congress organized by the Guatemala Green Building Council

Ciudad de Guatemala is the scene of the “Sustainable and Resilient Guatemala” Congress. This event is organized by the Guatemala Green Building Council (GGBC) with the support of BID Invest, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zusammenarbeit GmbH, and the Embassy of Canada.



This one-day event aims to look for and explore viable, sustainable, and resilient solutions for Guatemala regarding housing, communities, and infrastructure. With this purpose, the event counts on the presence of more than 20 international speakers working in the sustainable infrastructure field. Cristina Contreras, Founder and Managing Director of Sinfranova, is one of the experts participating in the event. 



In addition to participating in the Congress as a guest speaker, Cristina an ISI-approved trainer collaborates with GGBC and the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) to instruct an Envision Certification Course in Spanish.



This training is designed to teach participants how Envision can help to identify and apply sustainability best practices to civil infrastructure projects. The course takes place in Guatemala on October 25th and is free of charge for people participating in the Congress.
