ASME holds the first in-person meeting of its Committee on Sustainability

  • The Committee on Sustainability assists the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in defining and guiding the implementation of ASME's climate and sustainability strategies

  • Cristina Contreras, Founder and MD of Sinfranova, is one of the Committee on Sustainability 11 voting members appointed by ASME's Board of Governors

New York City was the scene for the first in-person meeting of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ Committee on Sustainability (CoS).

ASME_Committee of Sustainability

The CoS consists of 11 voting members appointed by the ASME Board of Governors for a three-year period. During this time, members will assist in defining and guiding the vision and implementation plan for ASME’s climate and sustainability strategies. Cristina Contreras, Founder and Managing Director of Sinfranova, is one of the members who will support ASME to accelerate its response to climate change.
