ASME holds the first in-person meeting of its Committee on Sustainability

  • The Committee on Sustainability assists the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in defining and guiding the implementation of ASME's climate and sustainability strategies

  • Cristina Contreras, CEO & Founder of Sinfranova, is one of the Committee on Sustainability 11 voting members appointed by ASME's Board of Governors

New York City was the scene for the first in-person meeting of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ Committee on Sustainability (CoS).

The CoS consists of 11 voting members appointed by the ASME Board of Governors for a three-year period. During this time, members will assist in defining and guiding the vision and implementation plan for ASME’s climate and sustainability strategies. Cristina Contreras, CEO & Founder of Sinfranova, is one of the members who will support ASME to accelerate its response to climate change.
