House of Sweeden in Washington, D.C, was the scenario for the “One Home, One Planet” conference hosted by Ikea U.S. This action-oriented event brought together purpose-driven thinkers from across fields to advocate for a better future. During the event, hundreds of sustainability leaders had the opportunity to ideate around circularity, affordable housing, and clean construction in smaller groups.

Besides digging into complex people and planet topics, participants listened in to top speakers like Javier Quiñones, CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer at IKEA U.S; Steve Benjamin, Assistant to the President, Senior Advisor to the President, and Director of Public Engagement; Reham Fagiri, Founder of AptDeco; the expert in Circular Design and Sustainability Carmen Gama, and the American climate activist Zanagee Artis, among others.

Cristina Contreras, Founder and Managing Director of Sinfranova, was one of the key stakeholders and sustainability leaders invited to join the event.
