Infrastructure Solutions of National Development Banks in Latin America

Peer learning for disseminating good practices in sustainable infrastructure across Public Development Banks in the Latin American region

National Development Banks (NDBs) are vital to financing sustainable infrastructure projects in many developing countries. However, NDBs still face significant challenges in mainstreaming sustainability in their planning and financing processes.

To bridge this gap, Sinfranova has worked with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) to develop a peer-to-peer exchange between NDBs to advance the agenda of sustainable infrastructure. This initiative has created a common space where NDBs can share and disseminate best practices on sustainable infrastructure. Sinfranova has served as the technical advisor for this project. To expand the reach of this initiative, GIZ and Sinfranova joined forces with the Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions (ALIDE).
