The collaboration between the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure and the Sinfranova team dates back to 2012
The Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) has recently welcomed Cristina Contreras, Founder and CEO of Sinfranova, as a new member to its Envision Review Board (ERB), a group of infrastructure professionals dedicated to maintaining the integrity of ISI’s Envision framework.
Sinfranova became an Envision Qualified Company in 2022. However, collaboration between the ISI and Sinfranova dates back to 2012, when members of Sinfranova participated in the development and implementation of the first version of the Envision rating system. Since then, Cristina Contreras has enabled the certification of more than 100 Envision Sustainability Professionals (ENV SP) and has played a key role in expanding the Envision framework across Spanish-speaking countries. ​

In statements to ISI, Cristina said, “As a dedicated advocate for the Envision framework both within and beyond U.S. borders, I am thrilled to collaborate with esteemed infrastructure professionals to uphold the relevance and excellence of Envision and its best practices”. She also added, “Serving on this Board aligns with my passion for driving innovation and sustainability in infrastructure, working toward a better future for all”.
