Sinfranova highlights Envision leadership at Construverde 2025 in Bogotá

  • Sinfranova participated in Construverde 2025, the region’s leading forum on sustainable construction, strengthening collaboration with the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) and the Consejo Colombiano de Construcción Sostenible (CCCS).

  • Our team supported capacity building through the Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) Workshop), helping practitioners apply the Envision framework in Colombia.

  • A milestone was celebrated at the event: Bogotá’s Carrera Séptima Corridor became the first project in Colombia to earn an Envision award (Silver)—a landmark for sustainable and resilient infrastructure in the country.

The 16th edition of Construverde, organized by the Consejo Colombiano de Construcción Sostenible (CCCS), once again positioned itself as the leading platform to advance the sustainable construction agenda in Colombia and the region. The event brought together national and international leaders to share experiences, explore ESG strategies, and discuss innovative approaches that accelerate the transition toward greener, more resilient cities.

As part of the technical program, Cristina Contreras, Founder & CEO of Sinfranova, joined the ENV SP Workshop delivered with CCCS, bringing hands-on training to professionals on how to plan, design, and implement projects aligned with today’s environmental and social challenges. This effort reinforces our commitment to expanding the use of Envision across the region and to strengthening local capacities for sustainable infrastructure.

Milestone for Colombia: the first Envision award

A highlight of Construverde 2025 was the announcement of Bogotá’s Carrera Séptima Corridor as the first Envision-awarded project in Colombia (Silver level). Led by the Instituto de Desarrollo Urbano (IDU) with INDUGRAVAS Ingenieros Constructores S.A.S., the project advances:

  • Sustainable mobility, prioritizing public transport and active mobility.

  • Green infrastructure, reducing runoff and enhancing urban biodiversity.

  • Community-oriented design, improving safety, accessibility, and quality of life.
